3 июня с.г. представители Министерства Культов и Религий Королевства Камбоджи посетили Свято-Георгиевский храм в Пномпене. Делегация состояла из генерального директора департамента религиозных дел МКР Хим Виболритх (Him Vibolrith), и директора департамента иностранных религиозных дел МКР Кхан Сопханара (Khan Sophanara). Гостей встретили настоятель храма и и.о. благочинного Камбоджийского округа Таиландской епархии иеромонах Паисий (Ипате)и операционный директор Фонда Православной Церкви в Камбодже (Московского Патриархата) Куоч Мунмони (Kuoch Munnmony).

Представители МКР ознакомились со зданием храма, религиозной и социальной деятельностью прихода. Визит является также инспекционным, в связи с выдачей лицензий на религиозную деятельность для православных приходов в Королевстве Камбоджа (согласно камбоджийскому законодательству лицензии переоформляются каждые два года).

В конце встречи иеромонах Паисий от имени Георгиевского прихода передал в министерство в качестве пожертвования для поддержки правительства в борьбе с короновирусной инфекцией 80 литров дезинфектанта и 5,000 масок.

Representatives of the Ministry of Cults and Religions visited St. George church in Phnom Penh

On June 3 the representatives of the Ministry of Cults and Religions of the Kingdom of Cambodia visited St. George Church in Phnom Penh. The delegation consisted of the Director General of the Department of Religious Affairs of the MCR Mr. Him Vibolrith, and the Director of the Department of Foreign Religious Affairs of the MCR Mr. Khan Sophanara. The guests were greeted by the rector of the church and acting dean of the Cambodian Deanery of the Diocese of Thailand, priestmonk Paisiy (Ipate); and Operational Director of the Orthodox Church in Cambodia (Moscow Patriarchate) Mr. Kuoch Munnmony.

The representatives of the MCR got acquainted with the church building, religious and social activities of the parish. The visit was also an inspection, in connection with the issuance of licenses for religious activities for the Orthodox parishes in the Kingdom of Cambodia (according to the Cambodian legislation, licenses are renewed every two years).

At the end of the meeting, priestmonk Paisiy, on behalf of St. George parish, donated 80 liters of disinfectant and 5,000 masks to the ministry to support the government in the fight against coronavirus infection.
